Long-distance route — full loads only
On this corridor we only carry full loads — the whole truck, 6 to 10 vehicles depending on their height. The rule applies to everyone, trade or private; a single vehicle cannot be moved here at a defensible price. Get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether your consignment fits.

Transport France - Spain
France–Spain frequently exceeds 1,000 km. At that distance we only offer full loads only, whoever the customer is: a single vehicle would cost a disproportionate amount, and we would rather say so than quote something nobody would accept.
The route runs either along the Atlantic via Bordeaux–Irún or the Mediterranean via Perpignan–La Jonquera, depending on loading points. Both are usable year-round, with no mountain-pass constraints.
The dominant flows are new-vehicle deliveries to Spanish networks and repatriation of used stock. The cost per vehicle drops sharply from 6 or 7 units on the same load.
More than 1,000 km separate most of our French loading points from their Spanish destination: two days of driving, statutory rest included, during which truck and driver do nothing else. That tie-up is what you are buying, not a distance cut into segments. A per-kilometre rate would assume the carrier comes back north full. On a corridor carrying mostly new vehicles southbound, that is never a given, and the uncertainty sits inside every honest quote.
That cost is spread over what actually goes on board, and two loads of the same count are not equal. Our carrier holds 10 slots, and it is height that decides which one, not length: the upper deck stops at around 1,750 mm. An ID.4 takes 1 slot in 7, a Passat Variant 1 in 6 — a gap that looks small until it applies to a whole load. A full new-model range therefore fills the truck quite differently from a batch of city cars.
Four levers bring your unit cost down: build or top up a load on the same route, mix the sizes so city cars fill the upper deck, widen the collection window, and name the exact models, not just the count. A fifth matters here: keep your loading points on one side of the country, Atlantic via Bordeaux–Irún or Mediterranean via Perpignan–La Jonquera. A load spread from one side to the other means two detours.
Everything you need to know about transport France - Spain
Expect around 11h00 of driving on average. The overall time between pick-up and delivery depends on loading points, truck fill rate and delivery windows.
The cost of a trip is the truck, the driver, the diesel and the tolls (around 900 km on this route) and it barely changes with what is loaded. The price per car is that cost divided by the number of vehicles on board. Our carrier is worth 10 slots and height decides, not length: a Polo takes 1 slot in 10, an ID.4 1 in 7, an ID.Buzz 1 in 4. A single car on a dedicated truck is therefore the most expensive case; the same car in a full load costs a fraction. To bring the price down: consolidate several vehicles, mix the sizes, stay flexible on the date, and give the models rather than just the count. Firm quote within 2 working hours, no commitment.
Within the EU, no customs formalities. Prepare the registration certificate, a proof of ownership or invoice if applicable, and the contact details for pick-up and delivery. A CMR consignment note and a condition report are issued at collection.
You keep a responsive contact throughout the transport and an update on your vehicle’s position until delivery.
Yes. Your vehicles are covered by our insurance throughout the transport; the coverage details are specified in your quote.
