Long-distance route — full loads only
On this corridor we only carry full loads — the whole truck, 6 to 10 vehicles depending on their height. The rule applies to everyone, trade or private; a single vehicle cannot be moved here at a defensible price. Get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether your consignment fits.

Transport Germany - Spain
This is one of our longest routes and it works with professional full loads only. A single vehicle over 1,800 km cannot be priced defensibly: without a load, there is no offer.
The route runs down through France, never through Switzerland. The German Maut (€0.187 to €0.473 per km depending on emission class and axle count) applies on the first leg, then French and Spanish tolls — all built into the quote.
Flows run mainly from German remarketing platforms and auctions into the Spanish networks, with used vehicles coming back. Allow 3 working days in transit from the Rhineland to Madrid or the Mediterranean coast.
Running from the Rhineland down to Spain means crossing three countries and tying up a truck for three working days, driving and rest periods included. No per-kilometre rate survives that: German, French and Spanish kilometres are not paid for in the same way. The German Maut applies at €0.187 to €0.473 per km depending on emission class and axle count, then come concession tolls built on an entirely different logic. We cost the trip, not the distance.
Over 1,800 km an empty slot is paid for three days running — filling the deck matters far more here than on a short hop. The truck offers 10 slots, and the limit is vertical: from about 1,750 mm upward the upper deck is closed, so the vehicle loads on the lower one and blocks the slot above it. An ID.Buzz sits right above that line — 1 slot in 4 — where a Polo counts 1 in 10.
The lever that counts here is not the date but the return load. A Spanish trip only balances if the truck goes back loaded, and that second half is built well in advance. So tell us at enquiry stage what you have to move north yourself, or how often you ship on this corridor: a regular flow can be planned in both directions. Two route facts complete the picture: we go down through France, never through Switzerland, and the transit time quoted stays indicative, confirmed with the quote.
Everything you need to know about transport Germany - Spain
Expect around 16h00 of driving on average. The overall time between pick-up and delivery depends on loading points, truck fill rate and delivery windows.
The cost of a trip is the truck, the driver, the diesel and the tolls (around 1400 km on this route) and it barely changes with what is loaded. The price per car is that cost divided by the number of vehicles on board. Our carrier is worth 10 slots and height decides, not length: a Polo takes 1 slot in 10, an ID.4 1 in 7, an ID.Buzz 1 in 4. A single car on a dedicated truck is therefore the most expensive case; the same car in a full load costs a fraction. To bring the price down: consolidate several vehicles, mix the sizes, stay flexible on the date, and give the models rather than just the count. Firm quote within 2 working hours, no commitment.
Within the EU, no customs formalities. Prepare the registration certificate, a proof of ownership or invoice if applicable, and the contact details for pick-up and delivery. A CMR consignment note and a condition report are issued at collection.
You keep a responsive contact throughout the transport and an update on your vehicle’s position until delivery.
Yes. Your vehicles are covered by our insurance throughout the transport; the coverage details are specified in your quote.
