Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the spedition-htl.com website by anyone seeking information or a quote for road transport of vehicles within the European Union. By browsing the site or requesting our services, you accept these terms without reservation.

1. Scope of Service

Spedition HTL provides transport services for cars, light commercial vehicles and special vehicles between various European countries. The website showcases our offers, collects quote requests and connects users with our sales team. The information published is indicative and may be updated at any time to reflect operational, regulatory or pricing changes.

2. Site Access

Access to the site is free. Users are responsible for having the technical means required (computer, Internet connection, compatible software) and maintaining adequate protection against malware. Spedition HTL cannot be held liable for temporary unavailability of the site due to maintenance, updates or events beyond our control.

3. Quote Requests and Bookings

Contact or quote forms must be completed with accurate and up-to-date information (vehicle type, dimensions, running condition, pick-up and delivery locations, desired timelines). Any transport booking is subject to written confirmation from Spedition HTL specifying the contractual terms, any insurance purchased, and payment conditions. Spedition HTL reserves the right to refuse a request that does not comply with applicable regulations or with the technical constraints of transport.

4. User Obligations

Users agree not to disrupt the proper operation of the site, not to submit fraudulent data and to comply with the laws governing vehicle transport, particularly with regard to ownership, taxation, insurance and the validity of documents provided (registration certificate, proof of sale, customs permits where applicable). Users remain responsible for the information submitted and for any consequences arising from inaccurate details.

5. Liability and Insurance

Spedition HTL operates in line with European road transport legislation. Carrier liability is governed by the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) and applicable national laws. Vehicles must be insured by their owners. Additional insurance can be arranged on request to cover the vehicle’s full value. Spedition HTL is not liable for delays caused by customs, extreme weather, road closures or any event of force majeure.

6. Rates and Payments

Prices displayed on the site are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer. The final price is confirmed when the quote is accepted and depends on the type of vehicle, distance, loading constraints, timelines and additional services. Payment terms (deposit, balance, accepted methods) are specified in the booking confirmation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the site (texts, visuals, logos, design elements) is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, distribution or modification, in whole or in part, without prior written consent from Spedition HTL is prohibited and may constitute infringement.

8. Personal Data

Information collected through the site is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is used to respond to inquiries, prepare transports and monitor their progress. Users have rights of access, rectification, objection and deletion, which can be exercised by contacting Spedition HTL at dispo@spedition-htl.com.

9. Changes and Service Interruption

Spedition HTL reserves the right to modify the site content, including these Terms of Use, at any time to reflect legal developments, operational needs or growth of transport services (convoying, multi-vehicle transport, express solutions, etc.). Updated versions take effect upon publication. If a prolonged interruption of the service is planned, prior notice will be provided whenever possible.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by German law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or to the execution of a transport service shall be submitted to the competent court at the registered office of Spedition HTL, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to international transport and consumer protection. An amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action.
