Spedition HTL has driven its own car carriers since 2014, delivers directly with no storage yard, and our native French-German team handles communication and paperwork with the seller — in German, French and English. One contact, from seller to client.
Germany remains the main source for import agents, with the new-car market up 15.7% in June 2026 and a record 28.4% battery-electric share. That mix changes the flows: electric vehicles need adapted strapping, which is planned for at loading.
Why import agents choose HTL
Contractual carrier, not a broker
Five car carriers are ours and run with our own drivers; the rest of the planning — around a hundred trucks depending on demand — goes out with certified partners we know by name. Either way HTL remains the contractual carrier and answers under CMR. A broker passes your transport to a third party and steps out of the contract.
