Professional vehicle transport service between Paris and Rome. Free quote and secure transport.
Long-distance route — full loads only
On this corridor we only carry full loads — the whole truck, 6 to 10 vehicles depending on their height. The rule applies to everyone, trade or private; a single vehicle cannot be moved here at a defensible price. Get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether your consignment fits.
Our European multilingual network facilitates all your transports. Communication in English, French, German depending on contacts. Complete administrative management and power of attorney.

Rome is a market that absorbs cars rather than exporting them, so the flow runs south out of Paris. Loading happens across the Île-de-France, at dealerships and on the compounds and return parks ringing the city, for delivery to dealer networks and rental fleets across Lazio. Over this distance we take full loads only, whoever the customer is — traders, import agents, leasing companies. A single car would come out at a price nobody accepts, and we say so before quoting rather than after.
The route follows the Rhône valley, crosses the Alps through the Fréjus tunnel — never through Switzerland — then runs on via Turin, Genoa and Tuscany. 1,420 km means two driving days, since a rig covers roughly 700 to 800 km per legal driving day once rest periods are counted. The lead time stays indicative and confirmed on the quote: winter closures, Italian driving bans and public holidays regularly push a departure by a day.
Demand follows the Italian calendar: the restart after the August shutdowns, quarter-end peaks at rental companies, waves of leasing returns. At the far end, a Roman delivery needs preparing — access inside the city, dealership opening hours, traffic on the Grande Raccordo Anulare. We book the appointments in advance, and the load never leaves the deck between the Paris-area collection and unloading, travelling under a CMR note with damage recorded jointly at each end.
What gets costed here is not your leg but the truck's whole loop: the run down, the unloading, and whatever it finds for the way back. Lazio sends few vehicles towards France, so return capacity is scarce, and that uncertainty sits inside every honest quote. Added to it are items that fall per trip and never per car: diesel, the driver, French class 4 tolls, the Fréjus tunnel toll and the Italian toll motorways.
That cost is then divided by what is genuinely on board, and the same number of cars does not produce the same figure twice. The deck holds 10 slots, and height decides who gets which — length never enters into it, since above roughly 1,750 mm the upper level is closed to a vehicle. A Polo takes 1 slot in 10, a Golf 1 in 9, an ID.4 1 in 7, a Passat Variant 1 in 6, an ID.Buzz 1 in 4.
On a run this long, the date carries as much weight as the contents. A load with a few days of slack can be planned onto a movement that is happening anyway; without that slack, the whole trip has to be carried by your consignment alone. Precision does the rest: the exact version of each car decides which level it sits on, and therefore how many vehicles the same journey south can absorb.

Expect 1 to 2 working days of driving on the northern corridors and 2 to 3 towards Italy, Spain and Portugal, plus 3 to 4 days between order confirmation and collection. These times are indicative and confirmed on the quotation. For reference, this route is 1420 km and around 16h30 of driving, excluding regulatory stops and loading points.
Yes, we handle all administrative management: contact with seller/buyer, document preparation, power of attorney for vehicle handover. Our multilingual team ensures smooth communication in English, French, and German.
The power of attorney allows the seller to authorize our driver to collect the vehicle on their behalf. We prepare this document and manage all administrative formalities to simplify the transaction.
No problem: our English-French team handles the communication. We deal with the seller in French, prepare the documents and our drivers collect the vehicles with power of attorney — our own fleet, not a subcontractor found on a load board.
Yes. Every transport is covered by the carrier’s CMR liability, capped at 8.33 SDR per kilo — enough in the vast majority of cases: a wheel rim or a bumper will never cost the price of the vehicle. For a high-value vehicle we offer optional ad valorem insurance, up to €250,000 per vehicle.
Yes. At loading you receive a written confirmation and a tracking link for your shipment, with no account and no password: it places the truck within an approach zone of about 10 km and shows the kilometres left. If you would rather just ask, your contact will give you the position and the estimated delivery.
