Spedition HTL has driven its own car carriers since 2014. Responsive collection, direct delivery to the expert, repairer or approved centre, and a team that coordinates in English, German and French with the parties involved.
On an insurance file, what matters is not only moving the vehicle: it is being able to evidence its condition at every step. That is why a condition report is always produced — including when the vehicle is already damaged on collection.

Contractual carrier, not a broker
Five car carriers are ours and run with our own drivers; the rest of the planning — around a hundred trucks depending on demand — goes out with certified partners we know by name. Either way HTL remains the contractual carrier and answers under CMR. A broker passes your transport to a third party and steps out of the contract.

A family tradition in car transport since 2014, on the DE, FR, BE, NL and DK corridors. Native French-German team: with a German seller we speak German, with no translation in between.
Non-running and damaged vehicles
Our carriers are winch-equipped: an immobilised vehicle can be loaded, provided it steers and brakes. Heavier cases are assessed individually, after a precise description.
Documentary traceability of the file
Condition report with damage diagram at departure and arrival, on a signed CMR consignment note. On a claims file, that is the document that establishes condition at the time of transport.
