The logistics after the auction
You buy on Autorola, autobid or other car auctions: once the lot is won, it must be collected quickly at the seller and delivered to you, anywhere in Europe.
Spedition HTL has driven its own car carriers since 2014. Fast pickup, clear pricing and full tracking until delivery — HTL remains the contractual carrier, CMR-covered.
BCA Europe moves around 6,000 vehicles a week across 9 countries, Autorola close to 200,000 a year across 17 markets. That creates one simple constraint: the window between winning and collecting is short, and storage is billed. What costs money is the delay, not the mileage.

Contractual carrier, not a broker
Five car carriers are ours and run with our own drivers; the rest of the planning — around a hundred trucks depending on demand — goes out with certified partners we know by name. Either way HTL remains the contractual carrier and answers under CMR. A broker passes your transport to a third party and steps out of the contract.

Collection within the platform’s window
Auction platforms set a collection deadline after the hammer falls, often with storage fees attached. We schedule collection inside that window — tell us about the lot as soon as you win it, not the day before the deadline.
Non-running vehicles accepted
A lot you win is not always in running order. Our carriers are winch-equipped: a non-runner can be loaded, provided it steers and brakes. Flag it on the quote request.
