What defines the Spain → France corridor
We cross either via the Atlantic side (Irún) or through Catalonia (La Jonquera) depending on the loading point, then take the French motorway network — generally avoiding Switzerland. Spanish and French tolls are built into the quote and never invoiced afterwards.
The dominant flows are used and end-of-lease vehicles heading back to France and the Benelux, and new-vehicle deliveries into the southern networks. Allow 2 working days in transit from Madrid or Valencia to the Paris region.
Contractual carrier, not a broker
We have owned five car carriers since 2014, and on every consignment HTL remains the contractual carrier, liable under CMR — including the loads a certified partner drives. A broker introduces you, hands the transport to a third party and steps out of the contract — you no longer know who answers.

There is no honest per-kilometre rate on this route: the cost of a trip is the truck, the driver, the diesel and the tolls, and it barely changes with what sits on top. The price per car is that cost divided by the number of vehicles loaded.
Our car carrier holds 9 slots, and a vehicle’s overall size — height, length and width together — decides: the upper deck is limited to around 1,750 mm. A Polo takes 1 slot in 9, an ID.4 1 in 7, an ID.Buzz 1 in 4. A single car on a dedicated truck is the most expensive case there is; the same car on a fully booked truck costs a fraction of that.

Within the EU, no customs formalities. Prepare the registration certificate, a proof of ownership or invoice if applicable, and the contact details for pick-up and delivery. A CMR consignment note and a condition report are issued at collection.

At loading you receive a written confirmation and a tracking link for your shipment, with no account and no password: it places the truck within an approach zone of about 10 km and shows the kilometres left. If you would rather just ask, your contact will give you the position and the estimated delivery.
