What defines the Denmark → France corridor
We come down through Jutland then Germany. It is a long route across three countries: as on all our corridors, we transport a single vehicle just as much as several vehicles grouped together, with price and lead time scaling to the volume.
Three toll regimes follow one another: the satellite-based Danish distance charge in force since 2025, the German Maut (€0.187 to €0.473 per km) and French motorway tolls. All three are built into the quote.
The dominant flows are Danish used vehicles — often electric, the local market having switched very early — heading to French traders and southern Europe. Allow 3 to 5 working days between collection and delivery — the drive takes two days; the rest is building the load and the delivery slots.
Contractual carrier, not a broker
47 trucks run on our planning every day with our certified partners: on every consignment HTL remains the contractual carrier, liable under CMR, including when a partner drives. Five of them are car carriers of our own, owned since 2014. A broker introduces you, hands the transport to a third party and steps out of the contract — you no longer know who answers.

Car transport Denmark → France: how the price is put together
On the way south the truck changes toll regime three times: the Danish GNSS distance charge, then the German Maut — €0.187 to €0.473 per km depending on emission class and axle count — then French motorway tolls at class 4. One single rate per kilometre would flatten all three into an average that fits no actual shipment. We price the trip as it is really driven, and the price per vehicle is that trip divided by the units loaded.
Which brings the question that decides everything: how many of your cars does it take to fill the truck? It holds 9 slots, but which one a car gets is settled by its roof height, not booked ahead. Above roughly 1,750 mm a car stays on the lower deck and blocks the space above it. Because Danish stock went electric early, it is mostly tall bodies: an ID.4 takes 1 slot in 7, an ID.Buzz 1 in 4. Nine cars on your list therefore do not always come to nine slots.
The most direct lever is to group your vehicles into one shipment rather than sending them out one at a time: the trip cost stays put, the divisor does not. Mixing the sizes does the same thing more finely, a few city cars taking the upper deck above the electrics. Then the date: our trucks head back south after delivering in Denmark, and a window of a few days lets you sit on that return.

Within the EU, no customs formalities. Prepare the registration certificate, a proof of ownership or invoice if applicable, and the contact details for pick-up and delivery. A CMR consignment note and a condition report are issued at collection.
Yes. At loading you receive a written confirmation and a tracking link for your shipment, with no account and no password: it places the truck within an approach zone of about 10 km and shows the kilometres left. If you would rather just ask, your contact will give you the position and the estimated delivery.
Yes. Your vehicles are covered by our insurance throughout the transport; the coverage details are specified in your quote.
Not ourselves: your vehicles travel on the carrier, without a single kilometre added to the odometer. We still take driven-delivery requests: a partner provider then drives the vehicle. Just mention it in your quote request or message.
