What defines the France → Denmark corridor
The route runs through France, Germany and Jutland. We do not use the Baltic ferries: going through Flensburg stays more reliable on transit time. As on all our corridors, we transport a single vehicle just as much as several vehicles grouped together, with price and lead time scaling to the volume.
Three toll regimes follow one another: French motorway tolls, the German Maut (€0.187 to €0.473 per km) and the satellite-based Danish distance charge in force since 2025. All of it is built into the quote.
The dominant flows are new and used vehicles heading to Danish importers, in a strongly electric market. Allow 3 to 5 working days between collection and delivery — the drive takes two days; the rest is building the load and the delivery slots.
Contractual carrier, not a broker
47 trucks run on our planning every day with our certified partners: on every consignment HTL remains the contractual carrier, liable under CMR, including when a partner drives. Five of them are car carriers of our own, owned since 2014. A broker introduces you, hands the transport to a third party and steps out of the contract — you no longer know who answers.

Price of car transport France → Denmark: what actually decides it
Ask for a per-kilometre price on this run and you get an average that describes no truck we actually run. Two identical trucks on the same route do not carry the same cost: one runs down empty from the Rhineland to load, the other extends a trip already under way. What we price is the whole trip, repositioning included, and the price per vehicle is only that total divided by the number of cars loaded.
The truck has 9 slots, allocated by height and not by length: above roughly 1,750 mm a vehicle no longer reaches the upper deck. Nine city cars therefore fit one truck, while nine ID.Buzz — 1 slot in 4 — need three. That is why we ask for models and not a count: a load described as nine cars can come to one truck or to nearly three.
The first lever is to send your vehicles out together: the trip cost stays the same, only the number of cars sharing it changes. The second is the date, and it weighs heavily here: runs back south rarely leave full, while departures towards Denmark are regular. A wide collection window will often get you onto a trip already scheduled. Allow room at delivery too, since Danish importers fill their slots at quarter end.

Within the EU, no customs formalities. Prepare the registration certificate, a proof of ownership or invoice if applicable, and the contact details for pick-up and delivery. A CMR consignment note and a condition report are issued at collection.
Yes. At loading you receive a written confirmation and a tracking link for your shipment, with no account and no password: it places the truck within an approach zone of about 10 km and shows the kilometres left. If you would rather just ask, your contact will give you the position and the estimated delivery.
Yes. Your vehicles are covered by our insurance throughout the transport; the coverage details are specified in your quote.
Not ourselves: your vehicles travel on the carrier, without a single kilometre added to the odometer. We still take driven-delivery requests: a partner provider then drives the vehicle. Just mention it in your quote request or message.
