Car transport Düsseldorf–Europe: how it works
· 6 min read
Based in Düsseldorf, in the heart of the Rhineland and at the crossroads of the major European axes, we transport vehicles to France, the Benelux, Scandinavia and beyond. Here, step by step, is how a car transport from Düsseldorf actually works.
Düsseldorf, an ideal base for Europe
Düsseldorf is one of the best starting points for European vehicle logistics: immediate proximity to the Netherlands and Belgium, direct access to the axes towards France, Austria, Italy and Scandinavia.
We operate our own fleet — Scania tractors, Lohr, Kässbohrer and Rimo trailers — and our certified partner Notis, on an open car carrier as standard (enclosed on request).
Step 1 — The quote
It all starts with a free quote. Tell us the origin and destination cities, the number and type of vehicles, and your preferred timing. We come back with a firm price and a realistic lead time.
Step 2 — Collection
On the agreed date, the driver collects the vehicle. A CMR and a condition report (with photos) record the vehicle’s state at departure.
Step 3 — Transport and tracking
The vehicle reaches its destination in compliance with statutory driving hours. You keep a responsive contact and an update on your vehicle’s position.
Depending on the corridor (short like Germany–Netherlands, or long like France–Denmark), standard lead time ranges from 1 to 6 business days.
Step 4 — Delivery
On arrival, the vehicle is handed over and the condition report is signed again. Everything is tracked, from departure to delivery.
Dealers, brokers, rental and leasing companies: we adapt the setup to one-off flows as well as regular volumes.
